Families visiting Reelfoot Lake have a variety of activities to choose from. Hunt, fist, pack a picnic lunch and take one of the pontoon boat cruises, or shop at gift shops, some which feature locally made crafts. Children will enjoy the Kiddie Park operated by the Kiwanis Club. Visit the Interpretive Center and museums located around the lake as well as local craftspeople. Stroll a scenic boarkwalk, walk the Wildlife Management area and National Wildlife Refuge, take an auto tour, or explore and discover Reelfoot Lake on your own in an original Reelfoot Lake boat. For the golf enthusiasts, there are three gof courses within a thirty minute drive of Reelfoot Lake. Cycling is also becoming a popular activity in the lake area, as well as canoeing the lake's quiet still waters. |

Only a short drive from sports teams all over West Tennessee!
Nashville, Memphis, and Jackson are just an easy drive from Dresden. In Nashville you have the Tennessee Titans for NFL football fans and the Nashville Predators for NHL hockey fans! In Memphis you have the Memphis Grizzlies for NBA basketball fans, as well as the Memphis Redbirds for you baseball fans. In Jackson, the Diamond Jaxx baseball team are another baseball team that draws fans from all over the region.
